About Kru-Kel Wholesale HVAC Parts, Equipment, and More

Kru-Kel was founded in April of 1971 by Kurt “Butch” Kruger and Kelly Kirtchner, former employees of another Charleston-area HVAC supply company. Kruger and Kirtchner’s goal in starting Kru-Kel was to provide wholesale HVAC parts and components while also delivering excellent customer service and superior knowledge of their product lines.

Over 40 years later, we strive to uphold the philosophies and values of our founders, long after they have left our company. The mainstay of our business continues to be the outstanding knowledge of every member of our staff, which allows us to give our customers the best support and service available in the region.

In 2004, we purchased Brunson Appliance to expand our service coverage to customers north of the Charleston area. Opened in 1983, our Summerville location provides appliance parts as well as providing wholesale HVAC parts and equipment to contractors, construction companies, school districts, and other commercial and institutional customers.
